1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Gigs Micro platform (gigsmicro.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform. These Terms apply to all users, including freelancers, buyers, and visitors.

2. Description of Services

Gigs Micro is a global online freelancing marketplace that connects freelancers with clients (buyers). Our platform provides:

• A marketplace for posting and finding freelance jobs.
• Tools for submitting proposals and bidding on projects.
• A secure payment system for transactions between buyers and freelancers.
• Profile and portfolio management for freelancers.
• Communication and project management tools.

3. Eligibility

To use Gigs Micro, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
• Not be prohibited from using our services under applicable laws.
• Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date registration information.

4. Account Registration & Security

When you create an account on Gigs Micro:

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at gigsmicrohelp@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
• You may not share your account with any other person.
• Gigs Micro reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Freelancer Terms & Responsibilities

As a freelancer on Gigs Micro, you agree to:

• Represent your skills, experience, and qualifications honestly.
• Deliver work that meets the agreed-upon requirements and deadlines.
• Communicate promptly and professionally with buyers.
• Not accept payment outside of the Gigs Micro platform.
• Not submit bids for jobs you are not qualified to complete.
• Comply with all applicable laws regarding your freelance work and tax obligations.
• Maintain a professional standard of conduct at all times.

6. Buyer Terms & Responsibilities

As a buyer on Gigs Micro, you agree to:

• Post accurate and complete job descriptions.
• Communicate clearly with freelancers about project requirements.
• Make payments through the Gigs Micro payment system only.
• Review and provide feedback on completed work in a timely manner.
• Not attempt to hire freelancers outside of the platform to avoid fees.
• Treat all freelancers with respect and professionalism.

7. Payments & Fees

Gigs Micro uses a secure payment system for all transactions:

• Buyers fund projects through our platform before work begins.
• Payments are held in escrow and released to freelancers upon satisfactory completion.
• Gigs Micro charges a service fee on all completed transactions.
• All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in our Refund Policy.
• Gigs Micro is not responsible for any taxes or duties applicable to your earnings.
• Withdrawal of earnings is subject to minimum thresholds and processing times.

8. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited on Gigs Micro:

• Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings or profiles.
• Attempting to conduct transactions outside of the Gigs Micro platform.
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users.
• Uploading or sharing illegal, offensive, or harmful content.
• Infringing on the intellectual property rights of others.
• Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to manipulate the platform.
• Creating multiple accounts to circumvent platform rules or bans.
• Engaging in any fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal activity.

9. Intellectual Property

• Upon full payment, the buyer receives ownership of the final deliverables, unless otherwise agreed.
• The freelancer retains rights to any pre-existing materials or tools used.
• All content on Gigs Micro — logos, design, and software — is the property of Gigs Micro.
• Users may not use the Gigs Micro name or branding without prior written consent.

10. Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes between buyers and freelancers:

1. Both parties should first attempt to resolve the issue through direct communication.
2. If unresolved, either party may raise a formal dispute through the Gigs Micro Resolution Center.
3. Gigs Micro will review the dispute and may request supporting evidence from both parties.
4. Gigs Micro's decision in dispute cases is final and binding.

11. Account Termination

Gigs Micro reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account, including cases where:

• A user violates these Terms of Service.
• A user engages in fraudulent or illegal activity.
• A user repeatedly receives poor reviews or complaints from other users.
• A user creates a risk or possible legal exposure for Gigs Micro.

12. Limitation of Liability

• Gigs Micro is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
• Gigs Micro does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access to the platform.
• Gigs Micro is not responsible for the quality or legality of services offered by freelancers.
• Total liability shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by the user in the six months preceding the claim.

13. Changes to Terms of Service

Gigs Micro reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh. Any legal disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
